Sugababes dropped by US label Roc Nation?

Speculation has been rife amongst bloggers and fans today that the Sugababes have been dropped by Roc Nation! The trio were snapped up by Jay Z’s record label last year and their 7th studio album, the ironically titled “Sweet 7″ was due to be their first official US release on the label.

After various push backs and a high-profile sacking of founding member, Keisha Buchanan, late last year, the girls eventually released “Sweet 7″ last week with disappointing sales figures. The album only managed to scrape in at a dismal Number 14 in it’s first week – making it it’s worst charting of a Sugababes album ever! This week, midweek reports look even worse for the girls as the album has dropped to Number 36!

The group are no longer on the official Roc Nation homepage and their future with their UK record label, Island, looks equally bleak.

Could this be the end for the Sugababes 4.0?
