| New Jess Mauboy album slated for November 17 August 2010 Jessica Mauboy will release her second studio album on November 5. It’s been common knowledge that the singer has been working on her follow-up to her 2008 debut Been Waiting this year, but the date has now been slated by her record label Sony. Word is, a new single, entitled Get ‘Em Girls, will be released on September 24 and stars a high-profile US star. So far Sony have remained tight-lipped about who it could be, although it's been reported she's recorded separate tracks with US R&B stars Iyaz and Jay Sean. Despite peaking at only #11 on the ARIA Album Charts, Been Waiting has gone on to sell double platinum (with sales of over 140,000 copies), largely off the back of a string of radio hits – Burn (#1 ARIA Single), Running Back (#3) and the title track (#12).
