Within hours of releasing promotional single "The Edge of Glory" to iTunes digital outlets worldwide, Lady Gaga has shot to the top in thirteen countries, including all of the major markets - USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, UK. The song has already surpassed current single "Judas" and looks set to debut higher in the next US Billboard Hot 100 countdown, spurring talk of it being chosen as the new third single from Gaga's "Born This Way" LP, due out May 23rd.

Whilst I'm not particularly enamored with the track, it has generally been well-received and I can see it doing far better than "Judas" on radio (yet again the song suffered hefty losses - over a million - in audience impressions today).
