"Bottoms Up" singer and ultimate R&B sex crooner Trey Songz was one of the top names performing at this past weekend's Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. The gig comes hot on the heels of his top-rated performance at this year's BET Awards, where he performed "Love Faces"/"Unusual" before joining Kelly Rowland for a performance of her #1 smash "Motivation". (Trey is featured on the official hip-hop remix together with Busta Rhymes and Fabulous).
Sans Kelly, Trey capitalized on the huge success of the song and it's remix and performed it all by his damn self in New Orleans. He did good, just one or two bum notes. Setlist also included his big solo hits "I Invented Sex" and "Bottom's Up".
