Rihanna will use product placement in the music video for "Rockstar 101"
Rihanna has reportedly used product placements in her latest video, depsite crticising the practice.
The 'Russian Roulette' singer recently lashed out at Lady GaGa for her heavy use of product placements in her promo for 'Telephone', but it has now been claimed that more subtle advertising is used in her own video for 'Rude Boy'.
In a recent interview with Shigenori Itoh, vice president of watch-makers Casio said: "We are excited to have Rihanna representing Baby-G and G-Shock Mini through her music video.
"As a trendsetter in the fashion and entertainment world, Rihanna is the perfect example of style, originality and edge which Baby-G and G-Shock Mini proudly symbolise."
A previously unseen press release from Casio has also been released by MTV, stating: "In 'Rude Boy', Rihanna adorns three Baby-G models: the hot pink on pink, the hot pink band with a white face and the eye-catching neon yellow on yellow.
