Kylie: "Bad Romance has set a benchmark"
Kylie Minogue has revealed she hopes that the tracks on her album match the standard of Lady GaGa's 'Bad Romance'.
The singer, who is gearing up for the release of her eleventh studio album, Aphrodite, admitted that the Lady GaGa song, which topped the charts in 19 countries, has set a new standard in pop music.
Asked by NME if her latest record was on a par with 'Bad Romance', she said: "Oh God, I hope so! I love it! That's a benchmark I'd be happy to be sitting next to."
Minogue recently claimed that GaGa had brought pop music back to the States, describing her as "an absolute force to reckoned with".
Aphrodite is released July 5.
