Country music is an American staple, but as of late it has been foraying back into mainstream territory in ways not seen in a quite some time. As Lady Antebellum and Taylor Swift sell millions worldwide on the back of their catchy country-pop tunes and even Justin Bieber is out collaborating with Rascall Flats, country-pop seems set to become the next big trend.

One of the most likeable country-pop acts out there right now is The Band Perry, who I sincerely hope will rise to major stardom - they deserve it. The lead singer's passing resemblance to Shakira and the fact that they all look rather dashing helps too. Peep their music video "If I Die Young" below. The song is currently at #92 on US iTunes.
