R&B's baddest mamajama Kelly Rowland has finally nabbed her first bona-fide solo hit stateside, with new lead single "Motivation" vaulting 2-1 on Billboard's R&B charts.

After 10 weeks on the chart, Kelly Rowland has earned her first #1 hit as the primary artist on Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart with "Motivation". Most notably the Lil Wayne-assisted single, produced by Jim Jonsin and penned by Rico Love and Daniel Morris, also advances 26-21 on Hot 100 while sitting pretty at #18 on Radio Songs, #25 on Digital Songs and #4 on Ringtones. Selling over half a million units, Kelly Rowland has yet to serve heavy promo for "Motivation".
Amongst great critics reviews, recognition from peers, love from causal music lovers and full support from fans, this is truly turning out to be the breakout year of Kelly Rowland!
