Best known as one fifth of top-selling British girl group Girls Aloud, Nicola Roberts has quickly established herself as one of 2011's most exciting solo debuts. Hailed as Queen Nicola by her 'Team Ginge', Roberts has departed from the traditional sound of Girls Aloud into quirkier, more experimental territory. One of the first solo songs written by the star was "Lucky Day", co-written by Dragonette, the first collaborators brought on board for Nicola's solo project.
"Lucky Day" serves as the second single from her upcoming album and is officially released on September 18th, ahead of parent album "Cinderella's Eyes" which is released on September 26th.
