“My song "I Wanna Shoot Lady Gaga" is not about shooting Stefani Germanotta, the lonely, insecure girl better known to the world as her alter ego, Lady Gaga.,” Sabrina explains. “The song is about killing off the gimmick, the character of Lady Gaga.”
You can’t blame her logic, the Lady Gaga persona is not for everyone. With her meat dresses, covering herself in blood and general over-the-top performances, Gaga can prove to be too much for certain people. Though being shot probably isn’t the answer for that, Sabrina explains what she really means.
“Its not meant to be sadistic or evil, I mean, just check out the song's artwork. We used a squirt gun - nothing violent, just metaphorical.”
The strange cheap production is actually very catchy. In my pesonal opinion, the only reason she created a song with such title is, because she's know's it's going to get her some attention. Attention that she wouldn't get if Gaga's name wasn't in the title.
