One fifth of British pop group Girls Aloud, Nicola Roberts is set to follow in the footsteps of bandmates Cheryl Cole and Nadine Coyle and take a stab at the charts as a solo star. The gorgeous pale skinned, ginger-diva is set to release a cool "kooky" sounding album via Polydor (home to Girl's Aloud), with "Dance To The Beat of My Own Drum" as lead single.
The song is produced by the hottest producers of the moment, Diplo and Switch, who are also behind Beyoncé's new single "Who Run The World (Girls)".
Other collaborators on her upcoming album include Metronomy and Dragonette.
