Male model Eric Zentner, who appeared opposite Katy Perry in her music video for "Hot N Cold", was killed in a hit-and-run accident on March 26. Additionally he had also appeared previously in music videos for No Doubt and Thunder From Heaven.
The 30-year-old is said to have been on the way to his mother's home when his vehicle ran out of gas outside of Santa Barbara, California. Witnesses say he exited his car and was fatally struck at 3:45 a.m. by another motorist, who fled the scene.
California Highway Patrol officers are looking for tips to help them track down the driver of the vehicle, believed to be a light blue Dodge Caravan from the mid-'90s.
Zentner began modelling in 1999 and had a highly succesful modelling career, starring in campaigns for the likes of Versace, H&M and Macy's catalogue (amongst various others) and fashions shows for Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Gucci, amongst others. He also did editorials for the likes of Vogue, Esquire, Elle, French Vogue, Italian Vogue, Cosmpolitan, Seventeen, Playboy, etc. etc., and was featured in various TV commercials over the years.
