MUSIC VIDEO: It Boys! - Guys Don't Like Me

The infectious "Guys Don't Like Me" is the UK debut single from LA pop-rockers It Boys!, who have just signed on with the same agent as JLS, The Wanted, One Direction and McFly in antecipation of a string of UK live dates to be announced shortly. Across the Atlantic the guys toured nonstop through 2011, appearing alongside the likes of Jeffree Star, Dev, Carolina Liar and in the Vans Warped Tour.

Their full length debut album is in the process of being wrapped up and will be released this summer. Whilst "Guys" is great fun and they're definitely the new "It" act for those partial to some guyliner rock (as I am), I do hope their album shows a diverse range of genres and serves up some less derivative fare.

Enjoy!

New girl on the scene Elsie - who burst on the scene last November with "The Assassin (Bang Bang)" - has released a fun new, interactive music video showing girls how to handle annoying sex pests! Needs to be watched on computer for full appreciation.

Fun concept and needless to say girlfriend looks straight fierce.

Another fantastic remix of Queen Madge's latest, "Girl  Gone Wild", this time courtesy of Offer Nissim (never heard of him/them before, but obviously very talented).

NEW MUSIC: Madonna - MDNA Snippets

Foto de Madonna — PNG

The reigning Queen of Pop Madonna is back with a hot new banger of an album by the name of "MDNA". Preceded by the singles "Give Me All Your Luvin'" (feat. MIA & Nicki Minaj) and "Girl Gone Wild", the album looks set to top charts around the world upon release this March 26th. Reviews so far have generally been unanimous in two aspects: one, it's a fantastic album, two, it puts the competition (namely Lady Gaga) to shame. Take that as you will but other than the lack of continued TV appearances this era has been shaping up most satisfactorily.

Check out six snippets below. There's nothing shocking or ground-breakingly innovative, which I guess is what everyone expects from Madonna every time every release. Still, what I'm hearing is an incredibly solid album that fits very well both with her own legendary discography and with the Pop culture of 2012. Let's face it - there's a reason why she's be doing it the longest and is still considered the best.

LIVE: Alexandra Burke - Let's Wait Awhile (+ Hilarious Video of Hitler finding out Capital FM isn't playing her song)

Foto de Alexandra Burke

X-Factor diva Alexandra Burke's new single "Elephant", featuring producer Erick Morillo, is out this week. It's currently at #2 in the UK midweeks, significantly higher than it had been supposed to chart initially. Whilst not ground-breaking in any significant way, it IS a hot track and it's always pleasing to see someone as talented as Alexandra Imelda Cecelia Ewan Burke do well.

Whilst on the promo trail for "Elephant" Alexandra stopped by SoulCultureTV for a class rendition of Janet Jackson hit "Let's Wait Awhile". For those unfamiliar with the original, check out Janet herself performing it live a few years back just below:

But hands down the very best promo for Alex this week - hell, in her career - is the following fan-made video of Adolf Hitler finding out Capital FDM aren't dgiving Alexandra her deserved airplay. Literally made me LMAO!

MUSIC VIDEO: J Cole feat. Missy Elliot - Nobody's Perfect

Foto de J. Cole
Popular newcomer J Cole teams up with returning rap legend Missy Elliot on new smash "Nobody's Perfect". That Cole is a more than competent rapper we all know, but needless to say it's Melissa Missy Misdeamonour who completely and utterly steals the show with her deliciously saccharine vocals and on-point bars.
So SO SO! glad to see her back looking and sounding fantastic and above all, in good health.

ANIMATION: Charlie Simpson - Farmer & His Gun

Credible artiste and former lead singer of not-so-credible pop-punk outfit Busted, Charlie Simpson has released a cute animation to accompany latest release "Farmer & His Gun", the title track to his upcoming EP of the same name, out March 25th.

Not exactly my cup of tea, but I'm glad he's been able to continue recording music he enjoys AND enjoying commercial success. Enjoy:

MUSIC VIDEOS: Borgore vs Dev - Kiss My Lips / Dev feat. Fabulous - Kiss My Lips

Foto de Dev

Hook singer extraordinaire and new MILF on the block Devin Star Tailes - that is, Dev - features on Borgore's latest release "Kiss My Lips", taken from his new "Flex" EP, which you can download for free HERE.

The collaboration is actually a reworking of Dev's solo track, also "Kiss My Lips". In it's original version the cut features none other than rapper Fabulous, who seems to be making something of a comeback recently after a period of relative anonymity. Judging from the relatively simple video it's just another of her 'promo' releases, which is a shame since the song screams smash.

Enjoy both versions below:

MUSIC VIDEO: The Shoes - Time To Dance (feat. Jake Gyllenhaal)

French duo The Shoes (DJs/producers Ben and Guillaume, whose remix credits include Ladyhawke and Marina And The Diamonds) have served up this awesome new single "Time To Dance", featuring Hollywood superstar Jake Gyllenhaal.

You can stream their whole album HERE - as others have said, it's all rather Kitsuné, but when was that ever a bad thing?

Great track and great video. I'm guessing the guys either have some major money behind them or are BFF's with Jake, considering this amazing mini-movie:

MUSIC VIDEO: Marina And The Diamonds - Primadonna

Foto de Marina & the Diamonds

After an excruciatingly long wait Greco-Welsh indie-pop songstress and sometime social commentator Marina And The Diamonds has finally revealed her new single "Primadonna". The track debuted today on BBC's Radio 1, followed shortly by online premiere of the song's full music video. Produced by decidedly non-indie superstar producer Dr Luke (the guy behind most of Katy Perry's hits, "Tik Tok", "Hold It Against Me"), it's the official first single from new album "Electra Heart".

For reasons I cannot fathom, the utterly fantastic, delicious slice of Pop cake "Radioactive" - one of the very best songs of the past year - has been sidelined as the record's first single and completely left off the tracklisting. Disappointing to say the least, but with "Primadonna" I've been coaxed back into her world. Admittedly it's no "Radioactive", but nevertheless a fantastic track, radio ready yet very Marina, complete with an incredibly giffable visual.

Primadonna gurrrrrrrl:

LIVE: One Direction - What Makes You Beautiful at NBC's Today Show

Foto de One Direction

Can anyone say Pop phenomenon / teen mania?

Boyband of the moment One Directon show up at NBC's Today Show atop a double-decker open-top red bus to perform debut single "What Makes You Beautiful" for a huge crowd of ecstatic American fans.

Needless to say, the boys are already HUGE stateside - their album release has been brought forward thanks to overwhelming demand, the single's blowing up on radio and they're scheduled to perform on iconic US show Saturday Night Live.

MUSIC VIDEO: Neon Hitch - F U Betta

Foto de Neon Hitch

Neon Hitch is one of those artists who has been around for a while now but never really caught my attention. The blatantly provocative " F U Betta" is her new (first? debut? I don't know) single and it's so over-the-top trashtastic that I can't help but love it.

I present to you Dirty Talk 2.0 (nowhere near as amazing but still solid:)

NEW MUSIC: T Mills - The Boom

t 670x684 T Mills: The Boom

Mr Travis Mills serves up hot new track "The Boom" from his 'Leaving Home' EP. Produced by The Stereotypes, remixes will be forthcoming shortly. It's no "Vans On" but still, hot song.

Enjoy:

MUSIC VIDEO: Usher - Climax

Foto de Usher

The fantastic "Climax" is the lead single from R&B superstar Usher's untitled upcoming studio album. It's sleek, sexy, grown. The Diplo production is a welcome surprise, but there's no trace of dubstep, dance, or any of Diplo's usual ethnic beats stuff. It's the new generation of R&B - the male Motivation, if you will.

The video is good and aesthetically pleasing, although I'd really, really, really like to shave that head of his. Enjoy:

NEW MUSIC: Toni Braxton - I Heart You

Foto de Toni Braxton

"Unbreak My Heart" diva and newfound reality TV star Toni Braxton has finally given fans an insight into the general sound and direction of her new music. Her as of yet untitled album will feature 10 tracks, one of which will be a remix. All or most of the tracks will be dance-influenced, in keeping with current trends, as is evidenced by the first cut to be revealed, "I Heart You".

Whilst the thought of Toni going dance doesn't particularly excite me in the least, I must admit this here track is a winner and successfully marries Toni's honeyed vocals with a radio-friendly, contemporary track that doesn't come across as desperate/try-hard/generic or any of the other pitfalls most late 90s/early 00s acts fall into when jumping aboard the dance bandwagon.

That subtle breakdown at the end is EVERYTHING.
